Personal Information

I have been practicing law for over 35 years and as a sole practitioner for over 30 years. I graduated from St. Vincent College in 1979 with a bachelor of arts in Liberal Arts with highest honors, and minors in business management and history. I graduated from Duquesne University, School of Law and received my Juris Doctorate in 1982.

For the past 20 plus years, most of my practice has been in Family Law, and for over 15 years I have concentrated in Custody for Fathers, defense of Protection From Abuse actions, and representing men in divorce cases.

My office is located in New Kensington, Pennsylvania (Westmoreland County) which is a central point between the county seats of Westmoreland (Greensburg, PA) County, Armstrong (Kittanning, PA) County, and Butler (Butler, PA) County. But I have practiced in all of the surrounding counties in southwestern, Pennsylvania.

A good portion of my free time is dedicated to outdoor activities, including, hunting, fly fishing and walking my great dane, Isabella (Izzy). I have been a certified hunter-trapper education instructor through the Pennsylvania Game Commission for over 10 years and received the Outstanding Instructor Award in 2008. I instruct on the average between
4-5 classes per year through several sportsmen's clubs, including, but not limited to, Springdale District Sportsmen's Association and Bull Creek Rod and Gun Club. I have organized, directed or assisted in numerous youth-rifle and fishing tournaments through several organizations.

I was raised in rural, south-central Pennsylvania and have been hunting and fishing all of my life. I have been fly fishing for the last 14 years, taking time to tie all of my own flies. I enjoy movies and the theater, and have acted in several plays at the Freeport Theater Festival.
